Is it possible for someone to become so addicted to Yahoo Answers that they lose touch with their real life and responsiblities?
Is your job in danger? Are you neglecting your kids? Do you spend more time at home now? Are you neglecting your friends? Are you not cleaning your house? Have you stopped watching TV? Are you addicted to Yahoo Answers?

well, i know someone who gets addicted to different things at different points of his life... euchre, poker, fishing, message boards, graffiti, and a few other things- and now, Y! answers. However, I am not so sure that it is possible to truly be addicted to y! answers because it cut ME off after answering "x" amt of questions (can't remember how many it was at the time)- but maybe the more points you get, the more answers they will allow you to answer. The internet is just an information highway and some people just love the information, some just love the entertainment aspect of it (personally i love porn!!)

I spend more time on here than I should. There are things I could be doing around the house. So, I would say I'm mildly addicted to Yahoo! Answers.

Yes its very possible ! I am also addicted to yahoo answers !!! Its just so hard to get off the laptop when you see another question that you really wanna answer and then when you're finished answering that one , you spot another one you want to answer ! ITS SOOOO ADDICTIVE !!!!!!!!!!

It's only addictive is you let it be. Some people, like myself, enjoy this site once in awhile but I don't think it controls peoples lives. People control their own lives and if they spend too much time on here then that is what they choose.

I am somewhat addicted. However, I have managed (so far) to only doing this on downtime at work and at home.

I would say YES- I spend too much time on this site.
I am avoiding other things that need my attention and very thankful to have found this question.
I will be getting up off my butt and doing something now.

well, it is possible but i think that's exaggerating. they're not really going to lose touch with their family and friends. i just do it because there is usually not much else to do.
