when i try to bring up internet explorer it freezes up then a box comes up that says low on virtual memory.. i have went in and increased my virtual memory space have deleted all temp cookies and history, i have xp and have several different accounts (for my kids) and their internet explorer works just not mine

I used to have the same problem as well, someone told me to download fire fox. It's a bit faster and easier to use. It never freezes up either. It's a free download as well.

you say you deleted cookies and history, but did you delete your *cache* for internet explorer?

under the "tools" menu (at the top), choose, "internet options", then click "delete files..."

(the cached files are different for each user on xp, maybe that's why the other account aren't having this problem; they don't surf the web as much, so there's not as many files clogging up their cache)

are they still logged on when you get on your account? if not log them off, instead of switching users. when you switch users, all the info, what t hey were doing, what programs they were running, everything, gets put into the virtual memory on your hard drive.

you need to compress your old files and to delete your cookies
