This doesn't make ready sense. We talk about living organisms thriving or not. We can also talk about the economy thriving or not. But usually non-organic things are things like lead or tin or stones that just sit around, they don't either thrive or not thrive. Please explain your language.

if it is about 3 month it is short term and if it is about 1 year it is long term

Sorrowful in the short term, but okay in long.
