That's before my time, but from watching 60's and 70's TV shows like the Brady Bunch, Good Times, and Partridge Family, and footage of college kids protesting the Vietnam War and music groups like the Beetles and the Village people...they wore tacky tie dye shirts, bell-bottoms, tight leather pants, jeans with holes in them, jeepers, tacky shoes, etc.

Our high school just had homecoming themes with the 50s 60s 70s and 80s this week! 50s were the poodle skirts and the cute kind of wing-tipped rhinestoned galsses, 60s was the hippie stage with tye dye EVERYTHING, 70s was disco, so it was bellbottoms and afros, with everything shiny for going to the disco. kind of like elvis. then 80s was the off the shoulder baggy sweatshirts, sweatbands, side ponytails, and leggings.

1960s they were Bell Bottom pants, mini skirts, sweade chokers around the neck, flowers in there hair, long maxi dresses, in the 70s they jeans were called hip huggers, and clogs, halter tops, and ro,ler skates disco clothes

60s - bell bottom jeans, if my sister didn't grab them before I got up!
70s - straight legged Levis with work boots & army jacket
