these are called tonsilliths and are actually globullare deposits of bacteria embedded into your tonsills. They smell aweful, but are totally natural and are no cause for alarm. Look up tonsilliths or tonsill stones on the internet for more info on how to treat and prevent

Tonsillitis (viral) is acute inflammation of the palatine tonsils. Viral infestions are contagious for 2 to 3 days. Symptoms usually resolve within 3 to 10 days after onset. If it is Strep (get a throat culture done and get on some antibiotics....now), it is usually marked by an abrupt onset with fever of 101 degrees or higher, severe sore throat and feeling really yucky and achy.

Depends on if you have other symptoms. Fevers, chills, sore throat that is red also points to strep. Other conditions can cause white spots on the tonsills. Best to check with your doctor especially if you are around other people and could spread this.

I used to get that when I was young. It is strep throat and you'll need to take antibiotics. Go to the doctor and get well!

This could also be a condition called Oral Thrush, which is a yeast infection. While most people associate this with babies, adults and teens CAN get it. Go to www.webmd.com for more symptoms of this and call your doctor.

Have you coughed them up before? are they hard and smell like crap? If so, then don't worry. It's just a buildup of mucous and other stuff from post nasal drips. If you're really worried, then see your dentist or better yet, an ENT enterologist.
