Eh.

As long as it can provide the things I "need"...and if I keep my "wants" to a minimum...money means very little.

Why? Do you need a loan, bail money, 6 pack? Just lemme know.

Having lived without it for a long time, whilst I struggled at college with two children, I would say it is of utmost importance. Those that say it isn't important at all have probably never known how it feels to have to choose between eating and heating.
People say money doesn't bring happiness, but then struggling to cope without money is not conducive to a happy lifestyle either.

Money is important only insofar as it can give you what you need. It all depends on your needs I suppose. Some require more and others less.
It is important to have a place to live, food to eat, to be able to pay your bills and a bit extra to do those fun things we all enjoy once in awhile.

And if I didn't have any money, I guess I would have to learn to do with a lot less.

Money is important but the thing to remember is that weather you have a lot or a little is not loses sight of who you are. Often when people come from money and have money they would sell their souls to retain it. The main thing is that if you have money to give to those less fortunate and if you have no money to be happy. We are rich in our own way.

Without money, I would not be able to do this on YA unless I used somebody else's computer. Money is very important.

This is a 2 fold answer. I come from poverty. So What I have is important, you have to have money to live.
But I would not give up who I am for it. My principals standard or my peace.
I can live with it or with out it. I can wear a glass slipper or go bare foot it does not make me or break me one way or the other.
But sure I would love to have a million or two.

Anyone who says that money is not important is a liar. People with money couldn't live without it and people without money want it. I personally, don't have a lot and of course I dream of having more. You need money to have a place to live (rent or mortgage) you need money to eat, you need money to have clothing, you need money to go places (gas and a car). Everything costs money and nothing is for free, so even though you don't need it to be happy, you need it to live.

it is very important, it is a tool to be used but not an object to love, as a tool its the best one we got that is why it is in such high demand, but only a tool, it is a means to an end, not the end itself and thats where i believe people make the mistake
