I want to go on holiday and i havent made up my mind where. but i dont want to pick somwhere that is in the highth of the rainy season ect. so i need a site that tells me where and when best to visit world places

I think the 'Rough Guide, First Time Around The World' has a list of times to visit places, and the booking 'mistakes' for travellers to avoid.

By far the best travel guide I have come across in my 15 years of travel is Lonely Planet. The website http://www.lonelyplanet.com/ gives a very good starting point for information but their books go into far more detail.

Powergen released a book a few months ago entitled "Weather To Travel" by Maria Harding who compiled it. it is a reasonable guide to most countries from A-Z .
