why do you like the music you like?
good lyrics, like stuff you can relate to?
good beat, stuff you can dance to?
good music, rockin guitar solos and such?
singer has a nice voice?
(yes, i did just ask this question, but i offended too many people with the way i wrote it, so i'm rewording it and hopefully no one will think i'm being judgemental or stereotyping anyone)

I like the music I like because it speaks to a part of my heart and soul. I like a lot of different kinds of music, it's poetry and heartfelt and honest - it's my favorite obsession :)
People will always be judgemental here, it's just a fact of life. Don't let others dictate who you are, just be you ;)

I love alternative/rock and brit pop music. I like music with meaningful lyrics and an artist with a haunting voice. Have you ever heard of Jeff Buckley, the man had the most haunting voice I've ever heard. Coldplay's music puts me in a peaceful state and their lyrics are always close to home. I sometimes wonder what has happen to music today.. all people care about is a good beat or hook.. yea, I know I'm only 15 but I like music with a little more meaning than "doing the chicken noddle soup".

Lyrics are always big for me. I want them to mean something or be sarcastic and witty. But I also have to love the lead singer's voice. I also like rockin' guitar solos.

I like music because sometimes I can relate, because of the message they are sending, or just because I like listening to a particular persons voice. Good for you sweetie, not all people can take constructive criticism, I give you two thumbs up. Good job. I still say people are entitled to their own opinions, dont ever change that about yourself.

Because the band is on hell of a band, and the lead singer has a excellent voice!!! Plus I love the lyrics.
