You're kind of middle-aged for a teenage superstar. Plus we have about all of those we need. What the world really needs is a teenager who can get your order right a Burger King. Have you ever considered a career in the fast food industry?

But if you are determined to be a singer, then go sing stuff. Find a band, audition, accompany yourself with a guitar, sneak into karaoke bars---do what you need to croak out a tune. If you are determined and destined to be successful, you'll find your way.

Perform in a place with strangers who will honestly evaluate you. You will get a good idea of where you are in your skill level. Some people need a lot of training, some people(most people) will never be able to sing, because they just can't hear the accurate pitches and don't understand what makes music "good." Then, in some rare cases there are people who can just do it perfectly with no instruction. You can't rely on your own perception, you have to get honest and object feedback from people. You can improve your intonation and vocal control a lot with lessons, plus you will learn a lot about what is going on in the music with phrasing, interpretation, style, dynamic contrast......in other words take voice lessons and music theory. To be a star you have to be a professional, and they have all studied with great teachers.

Never too late. If you really have a desire to sing, I suggest singing lessons. Get the best teacher you can find. A teacher can show you how to adjust your breath and the volume of your voice to maximize your potential. Do take lessons from a pro....you will be glad you did.

Practice singing.Train hard.Try to give a few public performance part of troop...request them to let you in for a song see how it goes...if you feel that you can do it...then go to the right people....it takes lot patience don't expect overnight results....Try to see some influential people too. Also enter competitions.Don't get discouraged if you don't win and trust God what ever happens it happens for the good. All the best.....God bless You

It's never too late to chase a dream.... that's the one thing no one could ever take from us. But you must also be ready for disappointment and rejection... Things don't always go our way...

And remember...it's a business... and in business it's about the money... not about the product.

School first!

Study all you can about different kinds of music;NOT just Rap/Hip-Hopp

Remember, today's singers are well "schooled" in all aspects of music, from classical,to jazz..and beyond.
