It really depends on what they're made of. Most modern trophies are primarily plastic, sometimes with a metalized plastic coating. These should be cleaned with very mild substances. About the strongest thing you'd want to use is a window cleaner, and a weak solution of sopy water with a soft cloth would be better. Essentially all you're doing is a good dusting.

Older trophies are often actual marble (which can be cleaned with almost anything) and semi-precious metals. The same types of cleaners that work on metal flatware and cooking dishes will work on them. Here you'd be removing tarnish, which should make the trophies much shinier.
