I just answered a question that said he was in the 70's, but my memory only recalls his 80's music. Any clues??

80's? 80's!!!!???
My dear... have you not heard Born to Run?
Darkness on the Edge of Town?
The Wild, the Innocent? Greetings from Asbury Park?

Thunder Road?
Rosalita?
Prove it all Night?

My dear woman, he was a LEGEND far before the 80's and Born in the USA came along. It was just that album that put him on the top of the heap where he belonged for 10 years!
I suggest you get a copy of The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle and Born to Run, take a ride down the Parkway with the top down, get off at exit 102 and take a look around Asbury Park while listening to Sandy (4th of July). Next, pop in Born to Run and take a ride down some fire trails, seaside strips, and lonely two lane flat roads in the area in the middle of the night...you'll forget that you were Born in the USA and SEE that he was MADE IN NJ...in the 70's!

He started out in the late 60's, and came an American star in the 70's, and an international star in the 80's

He had more releases in the 80s, so I'd say that decade, even though he started in the 70s.

He had hits in both decades, but he became 'famous' in 1975, with Born to Run.
That's a really good song too, I recommend you hear it.
