Helpppppp!!!!!!!how do you talk to people using e-mail????????

Question

my family is just about to get internet(i'm on my grandma's computer LOL)and when we get it i want to talk to my friends> How do i do that using e-mail? i know it 's sad!

You seem to have got the nack of speaking to people on Yahoo Answers well with all the effects (ppppp etc). You just need their email addresses and an email program such as 'outlook express'. Lots of people use a messenger service such as Yahoo Messenger but perhaps might complicate things if you set that up on your grandma's computer. Email works fine if not quite as good.

Edited comment Yahoo Email account probably best for you as others have stated

Just make sure you have Internet Access and a email account. Since you are on Yahoo Answers you should have your Yahoo email account. log into Y! mail and chat away.

You type in there email address in the to bar and the you put a subject like none or whatever the email is about,Then you type your email and hit send. It will then bring up a window after sent saying add to address book,Or download yahoo instant messenger or any other instant messenger and make sure they have the same one and add them(their id) to your friends list and you can call there computer (vice verse) and chat away.As far as getting a account go to yahoo or msn and sign up there it is easy or where ever you would like to have an account.

All you have to do is, click where it says compose or send e-mail. Then, put the persons e-mail address in the box where it says send to. Then it will say subject, put whatever in that box, for example you can just simply say hi. Then, in the large box, start typing your message and when your done go to the bottom and click send.
