I've never met any American who opposes our troops. Where have you seen such people?

It's not the troops, its what our idiotic administration is doing with them.

Has any Republican Armchair Chicken Hawk ever served? I oppose the war BECAUSE I support the troops, because I know as a former service member, that they cannot express dissent. Support the war? Call a recruiter- they need you.

Well, here is another misleading and dopey characterization of the 'liberal'? position on the war in Iraq. Obviously, anyone who wishes to preserve and protect the lives of our brave young Americans who are needlessly losing their lives in the Iraq debacle, should visit Arlington NC. Come on - we care enough to keep 'um out of there!

No one opposes the troops, so your question is irrelevent.

I know four individuals who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan, and all four of them are voting Democrat this time. I know not all soliders are doing that, but many of the Iraq War veterans are running as Democrats, as well.

Does that mean they don't support themselves?

One way to honor those who have died protecting our freedoms is to make sure we don't send our troops into war without a very good reason.
