I want Republicans out! And fairness in our government restored, the important issues haven't been raised... look at the Supreme Court! They haven't heard an important issue yet, but they saw Anna Nicole Smith's case... come on!

I am going to vote to be a voice in this country. Casting my vote ensures my right to gripe.

The most important issue to me rarely gets talked about by political people.

All the poverty we have in the United States should be a big issue. We can't wait to send money and aid overseas to any country that shows up on TV, but yet, we have millions starving and freezing to death here in our own country. I believe in helping others, but I think we should take care of our own first.

To play my responsible role in electing the Congressional representative for my district. We also have local issues on the ballot, which are more important to me than one congressional seat. State legislature is next year's elections.

Accessibility to quality health for all Americans is the most important issue to me.

The economy is also very nearly in the tank, regardless of how the data is reconfigured and massaged to officially state otherwise.

Now off to fantasy land:

I would like to see someone in the USA government come up with a workable strategy to implement alternative energy sources.

I would like to see technology increased and further implemented across a broader spectrum of industries.

I would also like to see real development of the USA educational system, so that we can become one of the top twenty countries in educational results, especially in math and science. For sixty years, many of our greatest scientists have been expats from another country.

I would like to see the USA government take a less militaristic role in the world. I do have family and friends in the USA military, and am concerned for their welfare.

Immigration: I'm actually in the minority for this issue, but I do want more immigration, albeit from a more diverse pool than we currently have, both of countries of origin, and occupational specialties. Since we lag so much of the developed world in math and science, let's increase those numbers of immigrants until we can catch up intellectually.

Assimilation of Immigrants: I do feel that it is important that USA return to its former status of a melting pot, where immigrants work on assimilating to the local culture, than become a stew, with balkanized interests and culture. While many of us celebrate St Patrick's Day, how many US residents and citizens still speak Gaelic as their primary language?

Finally, I would like for American voters to actually learn to think, research and rationally discuss the issues, rather than blindly believing some partisan apparatchik as the source of truth. I know it isn't as amusing as the current jingoistic smackdown, but I think we would be a better country for it.

I will vote in an attempt to remove every single incumbent in the government. No doubt, I will not be successful, but at least I'll give it my little shot.

Because I need to exercise my right to vote...America's security is most important to me...the economy is doing fine (my stocks and mutual funds say so) so I'm mainly worried about threats to our nation.
