several if your camcorder has a usb connection thats one. If not check to see if your video card has tv outputs on it (some do) and you can hook up your camcorder that way. Third if you have a digital media (sd disk) you need either a printer/scanner that can use those cards and you can transfer it that way. If your camcorder is more than 10 years old forget everything I just said and take the VHS to a digital copy service and have them put it on a dvd or cd for you.

u need a usb cable but check whether ur camcorder has provision for it and u need the software cd which came along with ur camcorder for windows xp i guess cd is not required. all the best

a camcorder has options, hich has an option right there that says comvert videos/pictures to .png/.avi. .AVi is the video file and .PNG is the picture file once you click on that option it will ask you that question then you can choose were to save whatever you chose to convert.
