Technically, this isn't an answer, it's an opinion. I think it's because they can get away with it. Maybe they are the type of people that in the "real" world, keep all their anger and frustrations bottled up so this, to them, is a release valve. Maybe they are just those self-centered types who don't care about anyone's feelings but their own. Maybe their parents never bothered teaching them simple manners and consideration and they don't realize how rude they are being.
Maybe they're just jerks?

sorry we can't do anything about this cos it is the internet. a lot of people are here and they have freedom of speech, so the have to give their opinion. you just have to tolerate.
