This has been going on for months. We live in an apartment ansd our walls are adjoined. To make a long story short she listens to me shower and makes horrible comments about everything! She seems to know more about me than I even do. She keeps track of my schedual listens to me on the phone etc. I have not said anything to her and not interested in a huge confromtation as I am a quiet shy person. Not sure where to go from here. The units are individually owned so theres no mgr to report to. I have lived here for 2 years and put up with her crap! WHat are my options if any???

Its so much worse shes calling me dirty names and listens and makes comments when my BF and I are intimate.I cant even poop in my own bathroom w/o her talking trash. Theres got to be something more I can do!!! I like the recorder idea however I am affraid that my cat and I are the only rwo that can hear her. Everyone else thinks Im losing my mind. SHe peeks in my windows and tells me how ugly I look and trys to insult everythng. Do they make recorders that are sensitive to sound and if so where can i get one?

Keep on ignoring her. Eventually she'll get tired of it and quit since she knows it's not getting a rise out of you any more. Regardless of how bad the temptation gets, don't let on that it bugs you. It's simply a game to wait her out. If she does anything that is destructive to your property or endangers your or other's safety, call the authorities. Otherwise, leave her to her own devices.

Put up paneling or something to block the sound along that wall. Or turn the radio on and put it to the wall when you don't want to be overheard. You can always wear headphones or earplugs in your house, or when you think you'll encounter her outside. That way you can just point to the headphones and walk away while she's yapping at you.
You can report to the police, but this probably doesn't rise to the level of illegal harrassment. If she gets into your mail, she's committed a federal crime, so maybe you'll get lucky.

You could file a complaint with the local police, but she may get worse or maybe stop. Have you considered moving, I know running away from your problem doesn't solve anything but only you can decide whether or not to stand up to her.

Record her horrible comment by your voice recorder. then next when she starts make other bad comment, play the voice recorder. I am sure she will be speechless when hearing her own terrible voice tones.
