Do anyone know if it's possible that dogs can see ghosts or spirits when we can't?
My friend recently died, and in the middle of the night; my dog will start barking at the darkness when nothing is there.

Yep, it's possible. Could be a crazy dog, too though. Mine barks at the wind sometimes, but he's almost 16 years old.
On the other hand, I've seen pics of energy orbs swarming around a room before with a dog sitting right in the middle of it looking like "what?". It probably depends on the dog, just like some people are "gifted" and others aren't. Interesting question.
Could very well be your friend's spirit, or perhaps just a bump in the night only he can hear.

no dogs cannot see any ghosts or spirits they feel something is there which is unknown to him.Many people say that when there is ghosts around us we feel very cold and for this let the dogs bark

Dogs often follow things with their eyes when nothing is there, bark, or get frightened when in the presence of a spirit.
Of course, this is what's said by people who believe in spirits, so who knows whether it's really true or not. I kind of believe it since dogs can detect cancer... Who knows what else they can detect?

when dogs become attached to someone the become more and more like humans.still there is the sixth sense that dogs and other animals acquire they are more aware of their territory as to where we do not pay attention and so we do not see.Think of a child who has wandered into the road while her mother was talking a man driving by notices but the mother does not . they are out there just look and you will find.

If livestock can sense an impending earthquake up to a few hours before it happens, then it wouldn't really surprise me if dogs (and cats ..as more than a few people have pointed out) could sense things the vast majority of us can neither see, or sense with any of our other (known) senses.

Dogs are better at detecting demons because demons usually manifest with a foul odor, and dogs are very sensitive to odors. This doesn't apply to ghosts, so you may have a malignant demonic entity in your house.

That is absolutely wrong. Dogs can hear sounds what man can not. It does not mean ghosts.
Human can hear up to 20,000 MHz. But dogs can hear up to 50,000MHz and bats can up to 1,00,000MHz.
We studied this in hi-school studies, there is no meaning to scare now.

I'm not so sure about other cultures but in some Asian cultures, when a dog howls it sees a devil or a ghost. So yes, it MIGHT be true.

yes they can, they dont have the same close mind as we do, my dog barks at walls when there is nothing there...
and my cat once runned like hell when he just stared at the corner of my kitchen, but he is ok now, he can enter anyplace of my house now, except my mother`s room(which i dont even like to enter) :p
