What is your favorite Scary/Halloween movie? We are having a Halloween party and plan to be showing scary movies in the background as the music plays...I was trying to figure out what movies to get.

Just to add some details....We will NOT be able to hear the movie so it has to be kinda of visually scary, alot of movies rely on the music

For everyone who said Friday the 13th, are you serious there are like 10 of them..help me out WHICH ONE??? The original?

I think the Nightmare on Elm street movies but what else???

Here are the best all time scary movies. Silence of the Lambs, The Ring 1 and 2, The Grudge, Saw 1 and 2, Friday the 13, Halloween with Mike Meyers, Nightmare On Elm Street, The Exorcist, The Amityville Horror, Pshyco, Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2, The Omen, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Children of the Corn, I.T., and............ Freddy vs. Jason

If it's going to be on in the background you probably want movies that have a lot of screaming and special effects, as opposed to really "scary" movies that are more psychological, so you should go with texas chainsaw massacre, hellraiser movies, Friday the 13th movies, or monster movies like pumpkinhead.

a movie that came out in 1998 called Urban Legend or the Chuckie movies, and It or Friday the 13th. Freddy vs. Jason was pretty good also.

Nightmare Before Christmas - it's very Halloween-ish looking all the way through (except the Christmastown part) and would make great TV wallpaper for your party.

The Nightmare Before Christmas. Its not that scary, and a lot of people have already seen it, but I LOVE the music in it.
