Miracle Piano is a teaching tool for the NES, or the IBM PC that teaches children how to play the piano. Students can learn to play classic piano, rock piano or show tunes. Fun exercises making learning the piano seem less like a chore and more like playing a video game. Instead of using the traditional NES controller, the piano becomes the controller as players hits targets in order to perfect their music skills.

If you're totally new to music, you'll probably need lessons. If you're not, you may be able to teach yourself the basics. There are some good self-instruction books available in music stores. If you're familiar with reading music in both clefs, then reading piano music is simply a combination of the bass clef and the treble clef. Each octave on the keyboard is comprised of 7 white keys and 5 black keys. You'll notice the black keys are in groups of twos and threes. The notes are in order starting with the key to the immediate left of the two black keys:
C, C#/Db, D, D#/Eb, E, F, F#/Gb, G, G#/Ab, A, A#/Bb, B.
This pattern just keeps repeating itself. The C key in the middle of the piano is known as middle C and is written either on line below the treble clef or one line above the bass clef.
