where i ive there seems to be a bit of a fashion among the black youths of walking around with one trouser leg rolled up. what is this all about and do they think it looks good??

In their never-ending efforts to be distinguishable from their parents' generation, young people have always tried to do that which sets them apart, especially vis a vis fashion. That they are seeking to be distinctive persons and end up as alike as army ants in their conformity is an irony usually lost on them until their own offspring start the thing all over again.

perhaps they are all riding push bikes and dont want their trouser leg caught in the chain? More likely they are just easily led - remember in a crowd of idiots an idiot can be seen as a genius!

in my day it was the old men who went around like this after parking there bike against a wall maybe they want everyone to believe they have a bike

Obviously they think it looks good if they are doing good. In my personal opinion I don't think it looks good, and I'd never do that. But I also wear skirts with pants, most people don't think that looks good.

Gang members....chedda boys, but it could just be a style...thats kinda old now no one does that anymore here, except for a few girls who wanna ahow off there graphic socks but thats about it
