I've had a couple of cars that have had this problem. My light is not a ! mark, but it will say something about the engine. We call it the engine light....seems drastic at first, but you get used to it.
My husband knows cars, but we did bring one in to ask a mechanic about it. He said that the newer cars have an electric panel and it could just be a fuse that makes it happen. It could be a loose fuse, a touchy one, or one that needs replacing. Usually it really means nothing.
The panel is like a board that commands your map lights, overhead lights, dashboard lights, etc.
Mostly it's just a "glitch".

Chrysler will sell you the manual for $10. Get it before you waste any more time. You can find them on ebay too.
