Instead of bringing a priest into it? And why do the Republicans defend this?

He is a typical Republican. Blame his problems on everyone else but himself. In his case, he blamed a priest. What BS!

Whatever happened to personal responsibility?

Because politicians love to pass blame on to others, rather than accept responsibility themselves. They blamed Saddam for 9/11. When people stopped buying that, they passed blame off on to Clinton.

Republicans are not defending Foley's actions, but him passsing blame onto others is politics-as-usual. The days of "The Buck Stops Here" are over. I expect to see the national debt blamed on Chinese interest rates before long...

What are you, a liberal?

What Republican is defending this? Who has come out in defense of Foley? No one! They are all distancing themselves from the homosexual as quick as they can. They all are saying if they had known they would have acted faster.

But they didn't know all the details or trust me they would have gotten a homosexual child predator out of their way as quickly as possible before something like this happened.

It's sad that the perv had to drag a priest into it but statistics on the priest nowadays almost make the guy guilty....it's wrong that he accussed a priest...it makes no excuse either...

Its always easier to blame someone else.. I mean why would he want to take responsibility? Heck if you listened to the priest's interview.. he didn't even take responsibility for his actions. Its part of the disease I guess. Alocoholics and drug addicts dont take responsibility for thier actions either. Puhleez!

It's a typical tactic of a weasel to blame someone else for his transgressions, because he figures it somehow absolves him of his responsibility and guilt. Republicans are particularly apt in this because of years of experience in excusing their crimes before the public.
