Don't forget Ohio State.
The SAT College Board site allows you to find schools by major and other criteria.
Use this link to perform your own search, which you can narrow down to a more manageable number with other selections of information. Click on FIND A COLLEGE under TOOLS, then under PICK A CATEGORY set the slide-bar to MAJORS AND ACADEMICS, select HEALTH PROFESSIONS under category, and it will give you a list of medical majors, including PREVETERINARY MEDICINE. You can continue your search through several other pages of options, which will narrow down the list of 300+ colleges that have that major.

Texas A&M (Agriculture and Military) is the one in Texas. It is a good school, and being in Texas it gets to be very high tempuratures. I am sorry that I do not know all 27 (I'm assuming that this is the number in the United States), but I also know of Cornell. It is in Ithica, New York, where you can get a lot of snow. It is also a very good school. You should think about the area and not just the school when you pick. You can also look at out of country colleges. Good luck making your selection!

Cornell University, Iowa State, and Texas A & M are considered three of the best in the country, depends on what type of animal you want to specialize in (large or small).

Best bet, get out the yellow pages for vet practices and call and ask about 40 vets where the best schools are. You'll hear the same ones over and over and from the "horse's" mouth, so to speak! :)
