I love Mac products (i have an ipod, shuffle and nano) but I want to know if it's worth buying a 2.0 Ghz 13-inch Mac Book cuz i'm going to buy a laptop, and I really love the design of the new ibook, but I also like the VAIO's looks

but i have all my life used windows OS and I`m not sure if it would be a good idea to chage drastically of OS with mac (i tend to use this laptop for everything, house, school, etc.)

so please guys help out here!!
thanks!

I bought an iBook over a year ago, and yes, I had been using Windows since it came out.

I love my iBook, will never go back to Windows. Vista is written to look alot like the current OS for the Mac, but hey why buy the old technology, since Apple is planning on replacing it with their latest and greatest.

I don't have resource problems, I have a stable OS, I don't get the blue screen of death. I don't have hangs or viruses. I don't worry about defrag, my OS is smart enough to do that automatically.

My support is always an expert who speaks the same language I do...English. When I need help, I pick up the phone and have never been on hold for more then 2 minutes. And since I have 3 Apple stores with an hour and 1/2 I can also go to a Genius bar and get help in person.

I love my Mac. I am already saving for my next one.

Last year Apple got server, desktop and notebook of the year. There must be a reason for that.

You can also run Windows on the new Macs. Windows users who bad mouth Apple just don't know it.

I forgot, the transition from Windows to Mac is easy. Mac is much more intuitive.

You'll find it different at first, but you'll find out over time that Mac OS X is much better than Windows. Look, MacBooks can run Windows XP just like your current PC. There's no emulation or anything, it runs natively, just like a PC. You'll be able to do all of the same things on your MacBook that you do now with your PC. Windows is always there if you need it, but you'll find yourself spending more time with Mac OS X. The MacBook is an excellent choice.

Well my answer to you is if you have time to learn how to use a mac and some kind of tutorial that would probably come with it then choose the Mac, but if you dont have that kind of time and use your computer constantly, like for homework, games, etc.. then the sony Vaio is defenetly for u, you already know how to run a windows and this computer by sony is a experienced user type, (which would be you) so i hope i helped, signing out.

If you play alot of computer games then stick with Windows as a special version has to be made for Macs and not all game companies bother.
If all you use your laptop for is surfing the web and email or even graphic design then most likely the Mac will not be a bad choice.

Just look at the availability of your favorite applications before you jump ship.
