If you have used condoms correctly and they have not split its unlikely you are pregnant. It is very important to read the instruction properly. (daft tho it sounds)
The pill has hormones in them I'm sure I remember reading somewhere it can take a while for the pill to get out your system and for your own cycle to begin. So this could be the reason you haven't had a period and the pains cud be your body preparing to work for themselves agen.
I think the best thing you can do is keep your appointment for the Dr's but the pregnancy tests are supposed to be very accurate.
The other thing is as this is a worry to you, and you don't feel safe using condoms choose a different form of contraception!!!

Simular thing happened to us, my wife did a couple of tests after missing a period, they were both negative. My wife put this down to just being diagnosed with an under active thyroid, 26 weeks later I was cuddling her in bed when I felt light tapping from her tummy which felt like a baby kicking (we have 2 older children 10 & 11). The next morning I told her what I felt and asked her to do a pregnancy test which she reluctantly agreed too saying that she'd already had 2 kids and would know if she was pregnant. She did the test and left it for me to look at and was getting ready to have a good laugh at me for being so silly when I told her that it was positive. We went to the doctors and explained what I had felt, the doctor felt her tummy and left the room without saying anything and returned about 1 min later with a midwife who examined her. The midwife and doctor both agreed that she was definately pregnant and was between 24-26 weeks. We now have a gorgeous son who is just over 5 months old. It was a total shock to us as we had been trying for a baby for about 2 years and in the month leading up to us finding out my wife had had loads of tests to see why she had not fallen pregnant except a pregnancy test. We were in fact about to be referred to the center of life in newcastle for further tests. So, in our experience pregnancy tests cannot be trusted. Good luck.

Hormones can get a little messed around even 6months after coming off the pill. Glad you're going to the doctor this week, sounds like they should be able to reassure you.

I think you can have a false negative but not a false positive, so you could be pregnant but the pregnancy hormone isn't that strong yet. I had similar bleeds with both pregnancies and then discovered I was pregnant. To be honest you should be able to tell from your boobs if you are pregnant or not, they just feel heavier

I have been told by many that the first response tests suck. Maybe some have had sucess with them, but a few of my friends used these and tested negative, and used a differant brand, and were posative. I would try a different test.

This is a difficult one - my home preg test I did was positive twice and when the doctors done a test - they said I wasnt! I was though!! If your doctors test comes back negative then I would say you are not.

you cold have done the home test wrong, not enough pee or whatever. I would surgest that you go to the docs and have a pregnancy test there, they are much better than the shop ones they can also do blood test to see if there is anything else wrong.

It does not sound like pregnancy. It is perfectly normal for people to have irregular periods. I have skipped one or two periods before and there was nothing wrong with me. You definitely should see your doctor to rule out any problems. Also, it is possible for you to be stressed and not feel stressed out - but your body will react even if you don't consciously feel stressed.

I think you are probably not pregnant but advise you visit the doctor. His test will be a lot more conclusive than any you can buy at the pharmacist.
