For a yeast infection, use Monistat. If you are getting one every single month (this happened to me years ago), then the doctor needs to prescribe pills for you because you have yeast throughout your entire body, and all the Monistat in the world won't help. I suffered for two years (young and dumb) before I found a doctor who knew what was wrong! Once I took the pills, I was fine, no more recurring yeast infections. Also, you should be aware that constant yeast infections are weakening your immune system.
Are you sure it is a yeast infection? It could be something else, like bacterial vaginosis. Has the doctor tested you and told you it is yeast for certain?

At some point you are going to have to take the steps to take care of yourself. And at some point trust someone with your personal issues. If you cant trust your mom...or you feel uncomfortable with talking to your doctor. Speak to someone you do trust.
There is nothing to be embarrassed about. You and about a bazillion other women go through the same things.
Your body is important and you should treat everything that happens to it seriously. After all it belongs to you. So bite the bullet and do what you have to. Take care of yourself. Its the most important thing you can do in your life.
You may not even have a yeast infection. It could be something entirely different. That's why you need to speak to someone who knows. Not everyone here will have a correct answer for you.
You could always go to planned parenthood to get a check up.
Your mother doesn't have to be there and you would have a women doctor.

The supplement Acidophilus which is the same stuff in yogurt. I found good results taking 5 pills. Cut your starches down. Are you on meds or antibiotics? They kill the bacteria you may have but wipe out all good intestinal floral you need. This pill will replace that which may clear up your systemic yeast infection. If you are overweight or diabetic have you been tested for PCOS? Do you have facial hair, dark areas inside your thighs or cheeks, can't lose weight, irregular periods, or can't get pregnant? These are symptoms of PCOS and possibly your yeast infection.

Are you on antibiotics for long periods of time? Have you been washing all of your personals before wearing them especially your jeans? Are you a diabetic.Do you take showers or tub bath? There is a lot to consider.Certain soaps, bodywash will give you yeast infections, the same from the dyes in underwear/jeans,antibiotics are the most rampant yeast monsters.Tell your mom so that you can be comfortable the longer you wait the more detrimental the results will be.

I use Monostat. Change your panties 2-3 times a day, make sure you are dry when you put your clothes on, urinate more frequently. You will be fine in a few days.

Ask to see a female doctor, you have the right to do this, or talk to your practise nurse. You may need something prescribed for you, so you have to talk to someone!
