In a word processor (like Word), you can go to Insert > Symbol, and find it in there.

Go to your Start button. Select programs, accessories, system tools, character map. Select Symbol from the drop down menu at the top. Both the upper and lower case versions of pi are there.

Go to "Character Map". All Microsoft version have this as far as I know.

It is usually located here:

start/all programs/accessories

It's either in there or one of the sub menues from there.

Anyway, once you find it, select the same font as what you are pasting it into.

Then it as easy as just hunting thru all the characters and finding it. From there it is quite obvious how to copy it. Then go to your application and paste it in.

well if ur using windows xp, u can try using charcter map
its in start>all programs>accesories>system tools>character map. Select the character u want n copy it.

you would need either use the character map from all programs --> accessories -->system tools
or from with the program like word etc.

try goin thru the insert tab.. else just look for equation editor. has all the mathematical stuff.
