got 160 hardrive sata need to use it for computer with no sata conection any help with this will be apreseated

2 choices
1. install a sata pci interface card into your motherboard this will allow u to use the sata full function

2. get a sata to IDE converter connection

i'm sure the drives can be converted but take this as a lesson the hard drivers are stating to go to this type now.

you have now got a hard drive that is no good to you ,sata and ide are different,the connections are different so hard luck
