If the leg of your jean is wider, then you have to slim out the leg to get them to fit in the boot.
The best way to do this is to fold the jean. The fold you create shows slightly over the top of the boot, sometimes adding bulk. So if you do it with the front, your calf may end up looking heavy. But if you do it in the back, then it's less obvious, and you aren't adding any weight to your legs. It's the same technique either way.
While sitting, find the middle point of the jean at the middle of the calf. Hold it in your hand, and fold it over towards your inner leg. You should have a "flap" now that is on top of the rest of your jeans. Slowly pull on your boot with the other hand, while stilling holding the flap you made snug to your leg. When the boot gets tight around your hand, let go of the denim and pull the boot the rest of the way on. You should have a smooth look in the front of your leg when done.

Depends on what kind of boot. If its a looser cowboy or ugg boot. Tuck it in it looks better. Those are made to be tucked in. Tighter boots like leather ones, don't tuck those in wear boot cut jeans with them.

Sit on the couch or a chair. See that 'fold' of material running along your shin? Fold it to one side and slide your boot on while holding the jeans leg in place. Your hand will slide up with the boot, but keep your fingers as far into the top as you can... And, Ta-da! One tucked in pant leg!!

Just place your boots over your jeans, there is NO speical way too. And when you get the boots on just tuck your pants/jeans in them in the end. Cute!

well the skinny jeans definatley are perfect 4 boots, but u probably dont want to go shopping for new jeans just because of the boots, so slowly put ur legs in while holding the jeans strait or roll them up a little bit in a capri kind of wayy.

Try wearing tight jeans, that way you wouldn't really need to tuck them in and just slip your boots in.

I always sorta fold the bottom of the jeans sideway and tuck them into my socks, then it's smooth sailing from there.

Sew a length of elastic (you will need to measure) to 2 garter clips. Clip the bottom edge of your pant leg..run the elastic and remaining clip under your foot and clip it to the other side of your pant leg. Your pants will always stayed tucked in.
