As the parent of 2 adopted kids, I say adoption's great. Trans racial, international, gay make no difference as long as you're prepared to love the child unconditionally. Rich people get special treatment in so many ways that I have a hard time getting upset over the adoption thing. After all, at least the result of that special treatment is that a child who otherwise might not have a family will share in their wealth.

I think no matter who the person is gender, race , religion they are if they can give that child a secure , loving happy home isn't that all that's matters ???
These children have been abused, sexually, physical or emotional and having to live in a care home is awful.
Why can't our society see that if a gay couple want to adopt then great for the child, all that child wants is love and security and a home not a lot to ask.
The child didn't ask to be born, and if people want to help then good on them for being brave enough to make the 1st step and help someone whom genuinely needs it.
I don't see the people who are against gay adoption going out their and adopting a child , so they need to stop preaching unless they practice it them self.
Amen

I am an adopted child and the worse part about it is not knowing who you are and where you come from. So if you do adopt have the birth parent write a letter to your child about who they are and such. You can give it to them at 18. Sadly, the more money you have the easier it is to adopt. Which is so wrong.

No different than heterosexual adoptions... great people giving an orphan a chance on a better living.

I think anyone who would love and care for a child, and raise it to be a productive citizen, should be encouraged to adopt... plenty of kids need a role model.

I think adoption is necessary and very good for couples who can't have a child any other way. I think more people should adopt.

well i don't think that anything is wrong with adoption... the children that are up for adoption need someone to love and care for them... so if you are going to adopt a child it is like doing a good deed.

I do not support gay people adopting children. I think its just looking for trouble to let them.
