I think it is the best game of them all. To watch as a player takes a pitch, 9th inning, 2 outs, bases loaded, full count... fouls that one off. Takes the next pitch... to hear that special crack of the bat.... you know as a fan where that one is going... it's up, it at the warning track, it's at the wall..... c'ya! A grand slam for ............... and ............. wins the ball game. It doesn't get any better than this!!!!!

The only people who say that are not true sports fan, certainly not baseball fans. They don't take the time to learn the game. If the did they would soon come to understand that it's the most complex, interesting games in sports. It's different than any other sport. It's the only sport where the defense controls the ball. And it's the only sports where failure is common place. The most humbling sport of all. What other sport is so challenging that a player can fail 70% of the time and still be good enough to be elected into the baseball hall of fame?? Case closed!!

You must have either played the game or your parents use to take you to games as a kid. I am the same way as you. There is nothing like the sounds and smells of the game.

Most people find it boring for two reason.
1. They don't understand the game. Either they never played or never went to a game. It is kinda like hockey, it is fun and exciting, but if you don't understand the rules or how it should be played, it seems very boring with the low scoring. But if you understand the game you undertand why the scoring can be low. Most people have never been taught the ins and outs to the games. They look at the game as people standing around and a guy playing catch with another guy. They don't see the over all picture of the game.

2. I think the second reason is people have a short attention span. They don't want to take time to learn the game or even understand it. They are ready to move on to the next thing that draws their attention.

Some people think that baseball is slow-paced. usually they're either striking out, or just getting a single. There are not very many ones of those great plays at the bottome of the 9th, bases loaded type of things.

t is being able to understand the game and there are a lot of people that want to see action on every play and lets face it probably 60-70% of the pitches thrown have no contact so no action. Personally I love the game for the situational play that makes you think about every pitch.

It's a thinking (wo)mans game. Filled with double reverse psychology. If you don't understand the game within a game, you would think baseball is boring. But it is not. Americas great past time.

I love baseball, by far the best sport to watch. I guess some people can't get into it as much, I'm sure theres something other people love and you don't get why they like it. Everyone likes there own thing.

They like to take it up the butt
and/or
They're too dumb to understand the complicated strategy and subtle constant tension behind the game.

I think baseball is one of the greatest things ever. I a person doesn't like it, it usually means that they don't get it. That or they are just stupid.

A pitcher's duel is a bit on the slow side.

"What time is it? The Seventh Inning."
