Dont worry, the vomitting should stop sometime around now, most women do at the start of their 2nd trimester. Keep nibbling on crackers or if those seem to taste like cardboard, buy assorted nuts and seeds, they taste wonderful, trust me. The seeds take forever to split open, so u dont tend to eat too much, just enough to keep the nausea at bay. Another trick is to keep busy, to stop focusing on your body, difficult I know, but you can do it if you try. When I was going through the same thing I used to curse and say I would never get pregnant again, but I did it three times and you know what? When that baby was born and looked at me with her feeble, runny eyes, it was WORTH every miserable moment she put me through before being born!!
Read a lot if you have the time, go for walks - u can keep your weight under control at the same time besides breathing in a lot of fresh air, stay away from your husband if he wears a lot of cologne and most of all be positive, things will get better you will see. Since the tablets dont seem to be working, loose them!

Saltines made me gag when I was pregnant. Things that helped were Popsicles, sparkling beverages (like carbonated juice), toast with a thin layer of jam on it (I'd eat some an hour before I planned on waking up), long drawn in and out breaths, etc. Sometimes nothing helps and that's just the way it goes :( I was on Diclectin and it helped only 50% of the time and the other times, it would make me more sick.

I have known people to be sick the entire 9 months - I feel for you as I was lucky not to have been sick at all. You may ask your DR if there is anything else you can do. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids so you don't dehydrate.
Also - every pregnancy you may have after this will be different - thank goodness
BEST of LUCK and Congrats!!

Have your doctor test you for low blood sugar (a 6 hour glucose tolerance test). I know they usually test pregnant women (in America) for diabetes with a 3 hour test but that may not catch low blood sugar. If you have a family history of blood sugar imbalance, this may be what is doing it.
Next suggestion, find a diet for pregnant women that cuts out the sugar and high natural sugar foods. If you want suggestions, check out the library link at www.hufa.org. High sugar foods kick insulin production up (which is high anyway as a natural part of preganancy) and that may take the blood sugar out of the system too fast, causing low blood sugar episodes, which may cause cramps, nausea, and etc. Small balanced meals and snacks more often can give you the nutrition you and your baby need, without triggering the lows.

Take a tablet of 'Doxinate' and 'Espazine'. also eat only dry things like a toast or a biscuit on getting up in the morning. Avoid taking liquids early in the morning. If the vomiting gets excessive u need to get admitted.

Ginger tea or candy can help. See linked article below. Always tell your doctor of any herbs you're taking just to be safe. Most doctors don't know much about herbs so he/she will probably not be able to officially 'approve' it but they should know.
Fresh ginger is the mildest and safest form like in cooking, although ginger in the small amounts that you would take for morning sickness is GRAS (generally regarded as safe).

Ginger has anti nausea property's. Blue sky soda (all natural) is a good one to try.
And to the one that said it's not normal at 4 months, I call bull sh*t. Some women are sick clear till they deliver.
