What is the best way to remove a crease from a paper back book cover?

the bad news is i don't think you can remove crease from paper, most definitely printed paper its like wrinkles unfortunately. you can decrease the notability. lightly ironing with a warm not hot can straighten the paper but it also depends on the print hevy flat weights maight work but will only decress the crease. dark prints creases cant be hidden well. but soft back books winkle over time despite best intents. do not steam iron with certain prints it could do more damage with certain prints and a steam iron can worp paper IE. make it wavy. it the iron too hot it will shinge the paper IE. stiff and can yellow so its best to leave it.

I dont know if it would work with a book but a steam iron run over paper money removes the creases and makes them like crispy new notes.

If the book is not yours and you are worried about returning it damaged, just buy a replacement. Even ironing will not remove a deep crease.

Place the book on a flat surface and put something heavy on top of it. This won't entirely get rid of the crease but will make it less noticeable.

stick a pile of heavy books on top of that book and leave it for about a hour or longer and the crease should go away!!!

yes iron it, but not directly on to the book put apiece of paper or material between the book and iron, otherwise it sort sticks, or melts depending on the type of cover!
