The laundry trolls come and get them. I know it happens to me too! I have bought so many freaking socks! I really think that there are laundry trolls that come and take our socks. It must be their favorite dish as they eat quite a few of them.

They're not really lost. The missing ones found a way out of the dryer without being noticed. They're actually forming a group to force humans to be slaves to all those runaway socks. Really, it's true. My one remaining wool sock told me so.

I have a theory thats its a little gremlin that lives in ur dryer and eats socks. He also takes bites out of socks that he doesnt really like and then leaves theer big holes, his favourite spot is the heel and the toe.
