Most probably, India would not have been what it is today. We would have been living a life under many small kingdoms and kings. Many of us would have been dying fighting for these kings.

Of all the wrong thing, one good thing has been, in The British Rule, was, they united the major states, in India, which were Independent Princely States, after disintegration, of Aurangzeb's Indian Empire, which spread up to Afghanistan.
Probably, there would not have been Independent India, as it is now.
