I do not know about Pakistan. I have never visited Pakistan.

India is much safer than what we hear from world media. Of course, you have to avoid flash points. There is so much to see and learn in India. You can see the clash of cultures, values. It is the meeting point of past, present and future. You can see poverty staring at the face of new found wealth. Your dollars go a long way in India. If it is between Pakistan and India, I would recommend India for sure

Which side of a football field is safer?
For me both the lands offer equally outstanding tourism and i have always seen two country as one! and that's what it is!

No country is safer if we travel with our face covered with tons of jewelleries, cash pouring out of our pockets, literally, on every steps, dressing like a super-beach-models and complaining everything from pollution to modesty to manners of people in a foreign land, not knowing poverty, oppertunities, and freedom of that land!
Both India and Pakistan offer some of the best travel experiences of South Asia.
I enjoyed visiting these sites to learn more about each country.

Pakistan

Both countries are safer to visit and enjoy, so arm yourself with cameras, smiles, and a backpack, and do "any mini miney moe" on india and pakistan!

Good day!

nicely... a) India remains somewhat low-value. in case you will fly to Malaysia, some hundred money (finished) for motels isn't a controversy. it remains way much less costly than the U. S., Europe, Hong Kong, and so on. b) it somewhat is unique. many human beings have been to Mexico or Thailand. There are effective places, yet... they do no longer look to be specially circumstances human beings want something diverse. Indian gown, foodstuff, lifestyle, shape, terrain, and so on. is unique and assorted. Sorry, the Taj Mahal, Agra citadel, Khajuraho temples, and so on. only are actually not in Mexico. c) They talk English. oftentimes somewhat nicely in comparison to Thailand and Mexico. d) some travelers shuttle to work out relatives, pals, and so on. There are a great form of emigrants from India in the U. S., Canada, uk, South Africa, and so on. e) it somewhat is oftentimes risk-free. travelers are not concentrated by way of drug cartels or non secular gangs, and that's an excellent democracy. f) while you're traveling Thailand, Mexico, or Malaysia you need to take the comparable wellbeing precautions as going to India -- Hep-A/B photos, tetanus and polio boasters, do no longer drink the water, no uncooked greens, and so on.

On the whole, India is larger, has more to see, and is safe for nearly any tourists. But Pakistan is fairly safe also, provided that you take proper precautions (like checking out any warnings from the State Department).

India, there's more to see, and it's safer. India draws loads of tourists to places like Mumbai, Delhi, and Agra (The Taj Mahal). India has English established all around so it won't be hard to communicate. India might be poverty-ridden and dirty in a sense, but its culture and history is rich.

well both are safe.. i mean the govts arent idiot not to ensure security in their tourist attractions and destroy the industry!

i have visited the northern areas of pakistan (in kashmir, frontier province, gilgit and ICT) and they have been absolutely terrific.. though the quake last year has damaged the tourism industry badly it still hasnt lost its appeal to the toursits across the world..
