My boyfriend and I live on different floors of the same building and this girl lives on his floor. She often talks to my boyfriend and he says that he thinks that she's lonely. My boyfriend was in love with me for a long time before we got together so I know he's not interested in her. I think she knows that we're together and is being rude because she's jealous. I'd like to know how to deal with her, as I'm tempted to have a go at her. Any advice?

It may make her think about her behaviour. If you really want to be friendly YOU (not your fella) could invite her out nxt time you go on a group night out!!!! She may just be jealous because she doesnt have many friends.
Failing that ..... if she does not want get on with you, its her hard look. You will get nothing for dragging your self down to her level so dont kick off, jus ignore her too !!!!l!

In the mean time, you can keep in mind that it never hurts to have converstaions with her, where you bf. over hears and realizes what she is really like. That could also be a double edged sword. He may be flattered she is interested in him or may become intrigued by her. Tread carefully, but don't be afraid of a threat. if someone is going to cheat, they will do it regardless. Be strong enought to know you will be fine regardless. If he does, you deserve better anyway.

Well, it sounds as if she is jealous of u and ur relationship. I think i would try and ignore her. BUT if she continues to be nasty to u, then when u see her than ask her what the problem is and why does she feel it necessary to be nasty or was their something that u did to her that u are not aware of. Don't just go after her, it makes u look bad and it may make u look bad in front of ur boyfriend. So do the sbtle frienddly approach, make her look like the bad person...

O.K. had the same problem as this, and now we are mates, not best mates, but we tolerate no another.
She would walk past me and sigh and look her nose down at me, until one day i had asked her what the problem was, and its that petty, that it was over not cleaning the stairs. I would smile and be overly friendly to her and try to get her to make conversation with you. This will make her even angrier but she will know that she can't get to you. Also, it makes you look like the better person! She'll probably give up being rude to you. What else can she do?
