There are many acronyms to come up with but in fact I don't think it is an acronym, I think its short for chavvie, which means baby or child. We here in Scotland call them neds which is an acronym meaning Non Educated Delinquent, which describes them perfectly, they are delinquents and are non educated because they think its cool to dog (play truant) school and cause trouble, but quite frankly they'd have been wasting their time going to school anyway as they are generally devoid of a brain! I think chavs/neds should be sterilised so they cant inflict another generation of s*ite on us all! We also have Sengas who are girl neds.

Chav is a word used by people who know they can't get away with using the words ****** or pakki or yid anymore. It is a way of creating a cultural stereotype so that real issues do not have to be addressed. It is a way of saying this person, this NED or Chav, is something less than me, because I am not a chav, I am a decent middle class person who would like to see other human beings sterilised because they don't happen to agree with my cultural and ethical aspirations.

The term “chav” refers to a subcultural stereotype of people fixated on fashions such as flashy “bling” jewellery (generally gold) along with designer clothing in the Burberry pattern (most famously a now-discontinued baseball cap) and from a variety of other casual and sportswear brands.
