I would tell him how much you appreciate him, not just *Honey, I appreciate you.* But when he fixes something, or helps you with the dishes, then tell him how you appreciate him. Or I find really listening to what he wants, like if he likes a certain wine for example, and you never buy it, one day just purchase it and serve it for dinner. I do things like that, but I always thank my husband for things he has done for me, at the time it is being done. Hope that helped.

Wow, what an awesome wife you are. Marriages would be alot happier if people thought like you. Heres what I do for mine - I make special dinners occasionally complete with flowers and candles and a letter on his plate telling him everything I appreciate about him (how he works so hard to provide for us...) I put a card in his lunch every Thursday to boost his spirits, I put sticky notes on his steering wheel, I make him tea and cookies at night, draw him a bath occasionally... It's not a one time thing, it's ongoing. I pray you're blessed with a looooong, happy marriage :-)

Before you say it, whip up one of his favorite meals. Make sure he's at home, so he can see you, and smell every ingredient as it comes to heat. The anticipation of eating a special meal, prepared by the woman he loves is a serious aphrodisiac. While eating the meal tell him how you feel, and after the meal treat him as if he is a king, if only for a day. Cater to him when you can.

Aside from the answers you have asked not to receive, you could try secretly arranging a romantic break somewhere for a weekend. Tell him nothing, simply show him the packed suitcases when he comes home from work on the Friday and take off.
When he asks what it is in aid of - tell him.

Well, you could approach this in a number of ways.
The simplist is just to go somewhere with him, look him in the eye and hold his hand and say "I really appreciate everything that you do for me." That in itself is meaningful.
Another thing that you can do is make something for him. It should be something with meaning behind it. Maybe a scrapbook showing all the things he does for you and makes for feel, etc.
Good luck.

Take the time to do something for him that he will appreciate like setting him up for a day of football (buy chips and snacks, beer or soda). When he asks why you are doing all that, you can tell him why.

Just tell him, you dont' have to over do it, then it will seem forced or fake.
Fix him a nice dinner, his fav would be nice. put some candles and nice music, and a card that says how much you appreciate him and all he does for you.
that should do the trick.
good luck

It's Sunday. Plop him in front of the game on TV, make sandwiches, crackers and cheese, and grab a couple beers for him, then (if he's showered recently) take his shoes off and rub his feet.

its not that hard. he does something nice and thoughtful for u, u can give him that soft smile that he loves, or kiss him even on a cheek like u mean it. or u can jus use words and say that u truelly appreciate him and his efforts. little things matter and men are good at picking up lil signals telling them that u r happy and satisfied.

Prepare him a fabulous meal. If you don't cook, take him out for a fabulous meal. :)
If he's a sports fan, get 2 tickets to something u know he'll love. Put them in a card. Write something beautiful (BUT SHORT) in the card, & leave it in his car for the next morning. Cheers to u both!
