My personality is probably a beaming light to some...and a darkened hallway to others. I know me..I know my looks paint a different picture than what is actually there. Present social standards, are just that..standards made evident by society and the way we look at one another. Normally, I try to be social....but it's weird that it's so hard to be normal sometimes. What is NORMAL to you?

This question befuddles me. If I were to judge myself based on the invisible standard of the majority, I'd say sure. My personality is off. For some reason, the people around me do not necessarily behave as I do. But at the same time, interaction with a range of different intellect is limited. To call oneself "abnormal" as you have put it, due to the intimidation of others, I believe, is robbing yourself of individual freedoms. "Real? Compared to what?"
I could go off on the futility of this abstraction "normal", but that bores me. So lets just give you the generic laymans advice you so seemingly need.
Stop comparing yourself to others.
You should be who you really are, dont care what others think.
Society sucks, you rule!

According to present social standards I am weird because I like being alone with my thoughts and people really disturb me with their whining. Being alone with your mind is the biggest challenge anyone can have in life. Most low thought people cannot handle solitude, they bounce around bugging everyone..I can go for days without leaving my home and feeling fulfilled, everything I love is at home, in my heart..An added bonus is that I love to dance and spend hours practicing and exercising.

I think that the part of my personality that others see is normal, but everyone has those weird habits or thoughts that others do not see

Well, if' I'm normal, I sure don't know many other people like me, so I guess I'll have to say I'm a bit weird. I can "pass" as normal, but underneath it all, I skew "weird."

If normal is what I think it is: Going to school, having a job, a girlfriend..perhaps even clipping my nails on the weekend etc...then the answer is yes, I'm normal.

I think my personality is found to be weird because I am always myself and am very honest. No pretences, no fakeness. That weirds people out.
