Sorry, I can't understand a) why anyone cares what scientists call it, and b) what difference it makes anyway.
With new discoveries in the Kuiper Belt (and more on the way) there are 3 alternatives:
1) get ready for hundreds of new planets to be added
2) create a definition for planet eliminating new ones but arbitrarily keep Pluto as a planet even though it doesn't satisfy the definition
3) don't call Pluto a planet.
The astronomers had no real definition for a planet, and really needed one. They came up with one that fit their needs the best they could. It really has nothing to do with us, if you want Pluto to be a planet then just continue treating it as such, the astronomers won't sue you.

Yes, I am upset Pluto is not a planet. It sucks to know science and the definitions created by scientists are not solid and can vary. It just means people are limited in their knowledge regardless of the era. Are you sure God is dead? And what do you mean the earth is not flat?

me...it orbits around the sun (planet- anything that has an orbit around the sun) they say that it used 2 be a moon of neptune, so thats wut they call it now (moon-anything that has an orbit around a planet) that is y i dont approve of them calling pluto a moon..IT HAS AN ORBIT AROUND THE SUN....1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
