I know they have hills like the hill country but what about real mountians?

No. I drove accross Texas dozens of times. Hills are mostly into and out of.

We call them mountains.What about out in Big Ben area. Leakey area. How tall do they have to be - to be a mountain. My daughter lives 15 miles from me. She is 1800 feet higher than me.That is a hill .

Yes. Guadalupe Peak in western Texas is over 8,700 feet.

yes we have real mountains out in western texas. they are very low but still considered mountains.
