someone once lectured us that in early age of 3 months children starts learning up to 4 years old everything you have taught them they remembered. I put this into practice with my goddaughter when shes with my parents we talked to her in 3 languages until now she remembers it and can speak fluently.

Children has an attention span of 20 mins. I teach 4 to 5 year old and I make sure that my children learn something while having fun at the same time.
Remember that adults doesn't like to be given a job and studies we do what we like and enjoy, so what more with children.

What do you consider a "very early age"? Very young children from the time they're a few months old until school years actually learn through play. Playing with your children is the best investment you'll ever make!! They will be bogged down with studies for most of their life. Playing with children with "educational" toys is best!

actually....they kind of go together. at the young ages kids learn about sharing, how to get along with others, how to follow rules...and they do this through "playing" with other kids. they must also be exposed to a lot of vocabulary so they can develop their speaking vocabulary, they start to learn the alphabet and numbers, colors, etc. Many kids with the right parents and how have social experience with their siblings or the neighborhood kids can develop the skills they need a a small child, but in other cases the child may be the only child and the parents might not help develop skills
