what kind of computer do you have? a dell? ANd how old is it?

if you have a dell, they can be found on the front of the computer under the little "dell" circle that folds up

on any other computer, you find it on the back of the computer. it is a small rectangle

Here is a diagram

If you have a very expensive widescreen LCD monitor that is like 30 inches (like me) then they can be found on the side of the monitor but most people cant afford thigns like me

the USB port is a small slot in the back of your computer. your camera should have come with a hookup for this. if not contact them and tell them you did not get one. When you get it hooked up the computer should recognize new hardware right away and automatically.

Depends on how new (or old) your computer is.

It wont be on the monitor either way, if its older it will probly be on the back of the tower (near the monitor and power inputs) if its newer it will probly be on the front, or somewhere very easily accessable

Its on the computer part not the monitor. You can really only plug it up one way so don't worry about pluging it into the wrong slot. Actually all computer connectors are made that way.
