Sci Fi author Robert Charles Wilson comes up with some unique concepts, like all humans one day falling asleep at the same time and being given the choice of immortality or mortality in thier dream. Called "the Harvest". "A hidden plac" was about two aliens stranded on earth and trying to find eachother, the male and female were both the ultimate masculine/feminine stereotypes. The female being fragile and beautiful like a butterfly winged fairy, and in danger around human males because they wanted her, and the male was like this big gruff testosterone neanderthal that was violent.
