Here's what happened:

I brought my instrument home from school on Wednesday, and left it in the back of my parent's car until today, when I had time to practice. Than, my mom took the instrument out of the car, left it behind the car, and while I was getting ready for Church, yelled at me to get it. Well, my parents got into an argument, and my mom was really angry, so she went off to Church, and ally ran over the instrument! The instrument is a tenor saxophone by the way... Than, when we got into the house to look at it to see if it was bent, .etc, it was very bent, and the keys were very stiff.

I know that it was my fault for leaving it out, but I am both nervous and angry, because of the fact that I have to audition for Honor Band tomorrow. What do I tell my band teacher? Please help me! I can't think straight right now because I'm so nervous and angry.

Usually your school has extra instruments and you could probably borrow an instrument. hopefully you band teacher will be all right with it and understand. hope you can get a substitution instrument and make it into honor band.

I'd tell the teacher the absolute truth about it, without hestitation. I'd say "Because of Honor Band auditions, I know that I cant let problems ruin my chances of being part of it, but the truth is, there is a problem and I need some help with it. My mom had taken it out of the car and left it laying behind the car for me to take inside, but my parents were arguing and having problems and I failed to get it moved in time before my mom backed over it when she was backing out of the driveway. " Good Luck. Larry

via fact of your piano historic previous, this could be much less perplexing for you than between the fundamental toddlers who have not got any diverse musical comments. while you're watching for a venture, French Horn isn't any doubt certainly one of the lots complicated units to hold close and an excessively properly French Horn participant is extremely coveted via band directors. while you're prepared approximately looking out some factor which could make you greater marketable in a rock and roll band or a appearing band of that nature, you may decide for up the drums. Drummers that could learn music are VERY wanted. you would be able to correctly be geared up to play the xylophone and diverse units and not using a subjects. Have a snort with it!

I would try to borrow another band member's instrument, and in the meantime, let your teacher know of the situation, and take your sax to a music store to see if it can be repaired. If not, you're going to have to get a new one.

Rent one or borrow a friends instrument for the try out, until you get a more permanent replacement. Just have your own reeds and if the mouthpiece is still good, use your own.

you should just tell your band teacher the truth because it is true and if she believes you you might be able to borrow an extra on that they might have.
