It could be a vairety of things. First you could be sleeping "wrong". Her head and/or neck could be in an odd position, straining your muscles in the head and neck area. Also, you could be allergic to something. I can't sleep on old feather pillows. Try buying new pillows (perhaps one of memory foam or a contour pillow to help with the muscle issue) and buy a hypoallergenic cover for it. They're only about $2-3 and they will really help any allergies you might have. This doesn't answer the part about your eyes or nose, but you could be grinding your teeth at night. A lot of people do this and it will cause a headache in the morning. Finally, you could be dehydrated. Every hears that your supposed to drink 8 glasses of water a day--really your supposed to drink half you body weight in ounces of water a day (you weigh 100 lbs, drink 50 ounces of water a day). But if you don't do this already, don't try to jump right into 8 glasses. Ease yourself and your body into it. If you drink one glass a day normally, try to drink 2 a day for a while, then add another glass in a little at a time. Good Luck!

There are several answers to this problem but you left out the important part... how long do they last?

It may be as simple as getting rid of your pillows and getting something smaller for your neck and not your head.

It could be telling you there is a problem in the neck in need of some attentiont.

If the headaches start during the colder seasons, it may be your heating, it can cause dryness and headaches. Also you may have an allergy to something on your bed or in your room. I would talk to a doctor and find out.

I had the same problem, I wasn't drinking enough water. Now I keep a bottle beside my bed and it helps. See a doctor though just in case.

Are you one of those people that pulls the covers up over your head or puts your head under the pillow? That causes what they call a "turtle headache." caused by re-breathing "used" air, high in CO2.

It could be that you are dehydrated. Try drinking more fluids during the course of the day. Avoid too much alcohol though, too dehydrating on the system. Good luck, I hope you solve your problem. xx

Get rid of your pillows and buy hypoallergenic ones. Use Tide Free or another detergent for sensitive skin to wash your linens.
