Does that mean you're beautiful with contacts and ugly with contacts?
They say "you look better with contacts" without you asking them.

This is my story - I had to wear glasses from the age of 11yrs. I was made fun of at school, I hated wearing them. when I was 20yrs old I bought some contact lenses, people where I work said "oh it doesn't look like you with no glasses on" Well to cut a long story short - I didn't wear those contact lenses for a very long time after that, and now I can see that it was a lack of confidence on my part. One day I thought all these people who say "it doesn't look like me " are totally mad - THAT IS ME WITHOUT MY GLASSES. Wasn't I A fool !!!!

As a photographer, I've often felt this way in regards to clients and it's mainly because they have beautiful eyes and glasses tend to hide them.
Now why don't they just come out and say you have beautiful eyes???...because some people may not know how to give a compliment.
The other only reason may be that they have glasses that don't enhance or compliment the rest of their facial features.
The only other advice I can give is, just ask the next person that says that to you....."Why?". Tell them that you always get that suggestion and your just wondering why everyone always gives that advice.

It just means that to some people you facial structure might have a better appeal to them when you dont wear your glasses. But then again it could also be the fact that they just me shallow as well. Some people are still very cave man when it comes to fashion and find glasses to be unattractive. I wouldnt mind what they say. What ever makes you feel your best, go for it, wether it be glasses or contacts.

i think most people see the use of glasses as visible sign of your defective eye sight, where as contacts are almost invisible. also depending on the frames and lense shape of glasses they can dramatically affect the look of one's face. its not always a matter of beauty v. ugly, but rather two different looks, and teh contact look being their preference

They can see your full face and eyes better.Some people like it better when one wears there glasses. It could also mean that you may need to find glasses that flatter your features better. Next eye doc oppointment try a few new frames on.

I think it just means you look different/unique in contacts. perhaps the eyes sparkle more in contacts vs. not wearing contacts.

It means that glasses wouldn't look good on you. They can see your face better and think you look nice naturally without adding anything to your face.
