go to mycomputer then click on local disc c drive then there would be a icon that says downloads then delete the files you wannu delete.

ermm..mac or pc?.. if pc then go to start and then, find type what you have seen good or bad none of my business and then click delete.. some needs uninstalling. mac is a click and drag to the trash can method

start~search~delete
then empty your recycle bin.
For permanent deletion, you need a special program like window washer, but so your "mom" or "wife" cant find them, delete recycle bin.
